Partner CHARLES MICHAEL HARTZMr. Hartz and Mr. George started the firm, as founding partners, in 1980. He has been the managing partner of the firm since its inception. Over the last 25 years, Mr. Hartz has gained a reputation as a "major case litigator". He has handled throughout his career complex litigation involving health care, business, construction and professional liability issues. Mr. Hartz graduated from Stetson University in 1970 with a B.B.A. in Economics. He completed his law degree at Sanford University's Cumberland School of Law in 1973 and received an L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Miami in 1975. He is registered in the National Registry of Who's Who for Executives and Professionals. He is a member of a host of national and state organizations for trial attorneys including International Association of Defense Counsel, Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers, Fellow-American Board of Trial Advocacy, American Society of Law and Medicine, Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Health Care Representative to the Board of Directors for "Healthy Kids," the State of Florida's Insurance Program for Children.
