H. Lawrence Hardy
Lawrence Hardy is Of Counsel to the Tallahassee Office since 1999. He is an A-V rated lawyer and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has litigated throughout the State of Florida, to include in the Circuit Courts, District Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court, and is admitted to all U.S. Courts including the United States Supreme Court. His practice areas include defense of all civil actions in all state and federal courts, including insurance law, personal injury and wrongful death, construction cases, discrimination claims and medical malpractice.
Mr. Hardy graduated from the University of Florida College of Business (B.S.B.A.) with a major in insurance, from Florida State University College of Law (J.D.), and is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and Florida State University Law Review Alumni Association. He commenced practice in Tallahassee in 1971 with Bryant, Dickens, Rumph, Franson & Miller, then moved to Coral Gables in 1978 and practiced with Proby & Atkins, P.A. (later, Adkins & Hardy, P.A.), where he was President of the Coral Gables Bar Association, a Director of the Dade County Bar Association, and Chairman of its Medical-Legal Committee. He was a member of the Tallahassee Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Florida Counsel of Bar Association Presidents and The Florida Bar (Trial Lawyers Section; 17th Circuit Grievance Committee). He was a Captain in the U.S. Army (Field Artillery).
