Teresa C. Ward
Teresa Cooper Ward earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law in 1981, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, in 1977. Ms. Ward practiced in St. Petersburg, Florida until 1996, specializing in estate planning, probate, and real estate. She developed the first successful Medicaid Estate Recovery program in 1994 for the State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration, and moved to the Tallahassee area in 1996, where she has continued to practice in estate planning and real estate. Ms. Ward has pursued several successful appeals in the area of probate litigation, and continues to give continuing education seminars in that area. She is an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College, an active member of Trinity Reformed Church in Tallahassee, Florida, and an avid pianist. Ms. Ward is admitted to the Florida Bar, the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.
